St. Michael Parish is committed to the formation of its parishioners as disciples of Jesus. We realize that this formation is a lifelong journey of spiritual growth. It involves the education of the mind and the conversion of the heart.
Opportunities for adult parishioners to grow in their faith are offered in the parish throughout the year. These small group sessions offer a variety of topics for discussion. Currently, we have the following Adult Faith Formation study groups:

Cursillo Ultreya meets monthly at 7 p.m. alternating between Mulvane and Wellington parishes. The gathering is open to all Cursillistas and anyone who might be interested in making a Cursillo weekend.
For parishioners 55 and over, this group provides fellowship and fun in the active support of parish and diocesan activities throughout the year. The group meets for lunch the fourth Thursday of each month. For more information contact the parish office: 316-777-4221.
This Catholic organization offers its service to the parish priest, aiding in the performance of spiritual works. Placed under the banner of Mary, members solicit her help in developing a greater holiness and a deeper devotion to her and her son for their own sanctification.
RCIA stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults.
This program is a discernment process for those who are not Catholic but who are interested in learning more about our faith and possibly becoming Catholic.
